An extremely realistic work of art with the shape of a human face, to be inhabited. This armchair/sculpture, made with rotational molding of polyethylene, can be a monobloc or with swivel mechanism. In multiple versions and colors, it can be used indoors and outdoors. Fabio Novembre, the designer, uses the human figure as the protagonist; his armchair is in fact both a mythical head of classic beauty and also a mask inspired by the Venice carnival. The sensation he wanted to recreate is that of a hiding place where the user can seclude himself in a secret place from which he can observe the world through the eyes of the mask. November’s works follow a visionary figurative current that enhances anthropomorphic forms and goes beyond the functionality of the object; in nemo celebrates the human being with a real installation. Created in 2009 for the fifty years of the company, it was then exhibited in the Nemo installation, Omni – against racism – with 5 new colors inspired by skin tones, aimed at promoting a strong message: no one is alone, all together we can overcome prejudice and ignorance. The Nemo armchair by Driade is part of the products displayed in our showroom in Viale Certosa 21 in Milan.
